Jeremy and I have the privilege of working with some incredible people. This guy is one of them. We’ve known him for almost 20 years. He and Jeremy were subcontractors working for my father-in-law in the beginning. Then he was one of our subs when we started building houses, then he became an employee who built the houses with us, then he managed other builders who worked for us, then the economy died a slow and painful death and drug us all into a pit of despair along with it….
BUT NOW…. we’re back! And we’re so happy that he’s back with us! It’s almost just like old times except we are older and wiser and (ah-hem) gray-er.
We brought everyone together this weekend for a Christmas Party. We ate, we drank, we shared, we played games, and we ate some more. It truly is our greatest joy to provide jobs for those who want to work, to give generously in the community, and in the words of my handsome hubby: “Have fun! Make money!”
