I don’t think I’ve read any fiction since my kids were born, 4 and a half years ago. Now all I seem to read are books on parenting or motherhood. This book was refreshing. It reminded me a lot of where I grew up. Small town Illinois. The way the author taught about the Proverbs 31 woman was clever and enjoyable. She ends it talking about a sequel whose main character is one of the secondary characters in this book. I can’t wait to read that one too!
